Connect a domain

In this article, you'll learn how to connect your domain to your website.

You should use DNS records if you wish to use other services with your domain, in addition to your website. This option allows you to create additional external DNS records.

Go to your domain provider. Find the custom DNS records option. We're using Namecheap in this example, and it may be different depending on your registrar. You must use your specific IP, not the one used in this guide.

Add an "A" record pointing to your website's IP address. This IP can be located through the Web Panel. The name/host should be "@" and it should point to the IP.

Add a "CNAME" record pointing to your domain name. You must enter a full stop/period after your domain name. The host should be set as "www".

Save your DNS records configuration. Please note: this may take up to 24 hours to propogate depending on your provider!
